Flooring Xtra head office in Carrum Downs wanted just that. They commissioned us to supply and install a reception sign, but not just any reception sign. They wanted a bold, sophisticated and jaw-dropping-awesome statement to say “you’ve just arrived at the best flooring business in Melbourne.”
Challenge accepted! We started with an onsite survey to assess the location looking at brand colours, materials vs impact and installation methods. While our in house graphic designer created the initial artwork mock ups and designs for client approval we prepared the walls removing any existing signage or paint. To minimise the interruption to the office we installed the finished product after hours.
The end result: Lettering from 20mm thick acrylic for that 3Dimensional look with custom matched colour from their corporate style guide. We finished them with a satin automotive paint finish and attached them with a raised pin so they look like they are floating off the wall.
