LF Sign Group were engaged to design, construct & install a 3D external signage for Cobs Popcorn located in Dandenong.
With a tight deadline & some great ideas brought to the table we went about drafting the design concepts based on the initial meeting with the client & Luke Farrar our resident signage expert.
The first meeting is always crucial in determining a clients wants, needs, likes & dislikes and as always Luke comes loaded with all the physical samples so the client can see all the options on material, colour & finish.
This always expedites the entire sign making process and ensures everyone is on the same page ready to start the project with a bang.
A little about Luke:
Luke is passionate about producing super high quality signage that represents the client, company & brand, he is the complete expert & believes in “listening first to then understand”
I love the interaction with people & genuinely get excited about each new project & person i meet, my role is to make the whole process easy & advise, recommend & guide the client through from start to finish
Im an ideas man & that comes from my creative background as a sign writer for over 17yrs. From traditional brushwork, vehicle wraps, fabricated, LED & high end reception signage i’ve worked with it all
These days Luke handles sales & systems in the business with a huge focus on providing WOW through service to each & everyone of the LF Sign Group clientele, he is supported & a part of what we call the “A-Team” made up of a group of highly skilled, like minded & passionate team members living & breathing the LF core values which produces an awesome culture.
Ok back to the cobs popcorn project!:
So the meeting was complete & Luke created a brief from the client: Sign had to be high end, corporate with a point of difference & also taking into account the overall look of the building to keep consistent with its surrounds.
Some of the materials used on this project included Alucobond, custom painted stripes, 20mm acrylic, with brushed stainless steel lettering to finish it off.
The result was outstanding & the client was extremely happy with the result & the A-team again came together to produce this awesome piece of signage.
